Webinar Promotes Cartilage Repair Biomaterial
Thanks for the great feedback we have received from the live web discussion on July 13 - 6.00pm/7.00pm regarding state-of-the art technology for cartilage repair. It was the second chapter in the Technion Technology Transfer Innovations Series that introduces groundbreaking companies and technologies to promote collaboration with global companies, research institutions and investors.
The webinar focused on Gelrin, the revolutionary biomaterial that fosters tissue regeneration and repair of broken bones and damaged cartilage. Developed in the laboratory of Dr. Dror Seliktar, Gelrin could reduce the need for bone transplants and heal bone defects caused by cancer, trauma, or age-related degeneration. In addition, Dr. Seliktar believes it could also promote regeneration of heart muscle and nerve tissue.
