‘How secure is your mobile phone?’

Dean of the Computer Science Department at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology

Professor Biham will discuss the GSM phone network and explore the insecurity of the system. He will describe how the phone network can be attacked, which makes it possible to listen into GSM phone conversations, steal calls during the conversation, and make calls on behalf of (and paid by) an attacked phone.

 
 
 
There will not be an appeal during the breakfast.
