The central building of the Technion, the Churchill Auditorium is named in memory of Sir Winston Churchill and his grandson Mr Winston S Churchill is the Honorary Vice President of the British Technion Society.
Students of the Technion often study at Churchill College as part of a unique student exchange programme.
The Cambridge group has a close interest in the scientific and technological developments of the Technion and encourages speakers to visit Cambridge.
